Ohio Street Lift Bridge To Be Renovated

If you frequent downtown and the waterfront enough, you've probably driven on the Ohio Street Lift Bridge. Sometimes it can be a pain when the bridge lifts to allow boats to go under (especially with the skyway construction), causing traffic backups.

It was announced on Friday that the Ohio Street Lift Bridge will be getting a major renovation, which will cost $10 million. That's on top of the $5 million that's already been given for the project.

The bridge was built in 1866. The construction is expected to start in 2021.
