2020 featured many, if not the majority, of festivals and fairs canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic. 2021 is much more hopeful. While we do have some festivals canceled this spring and summer, there are a few that will go on and one will make its return to Buffalo this spring.

According to their Facebook page, Buffalo Riverworks has announced that the Totally Buffalo Festival will make its return on May 29th and 30th for a two-day event.

The Totally Buffalo Festival has happened three times before, but did not take place last year, for obvious reasons.

The festival will feature dozens of local vendors that celebrate all things Buffalo. Food and retail that celebrate Buffalo will be featured at Buffalo RiverWorks on Memorial Day Weekend and admission will only be $5. Kids under 5 years old will get in for free.

Preregistration is required and each ticket is good for one time slot. Each time slot will give you 2 1/2 hours of vendor fun.

Masks and social distancing will be followed at the festival.

In case you missed it, Taste of Buffalo got the all clear to have its festival in-person this summer as well. Perhaps we will see more and more events get announced as we go further into May and June.

2021 is shaping up to be a much better year than 2020.
