Post-Combine Buffalo Bills 2024 Mock Draft: 3.0

The 2024 NFL Scouting Combine is finished and that means that teams (along with media and fans) have measurables and drills on tape, which will help fill in gaps when it comes to making their draft boards.

The only things left are the numerous college pro days and player visits, which teams only have a finite number of them leading up to the draft.

The Bills need to clear out about $37 million in cap space before the new league year begins on March 14th. Buffalo needs to make sure they nail their draft selections, since they won't have a lot of money to spend on free agents this time around.

Since we are past the combine, we have made the latest mock draft for the Bills. The same positions are of need but some new names since the last mock draft.

First Round (28th overall): Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas

With Brian Thomas Jr's insane combine (4.33 40-time), the Bills can't get up high enough to draft him here, but they do get AD Mitchell to fall into their lap.

Mitchell has the size, speed and catching skills to be a number one wide receiver.

Second Round (60th overall): Kris Jenkins Jr., DT, Michigan

Jenkins could go anywhere from early round two to late round two. The Bills are fortunate enough to pick him here. He's big and athletic. Great against the run.

Jenkins' father Kris Jenkins played for the Carolina Panthers in the 2000's. He was also a DT. Bills GM Brandon Beane was with the Carolina organization then and he should know everything he needs to about Kris Jenkins Jr. and the person he is.

Third Round (79th overall): Calen Bullock, S, USC

The Bills trade pick 100, 246 and a future third rounder in 2025, in order to trade up for Bullock. He's a great cover safety who has tremendous instincts. He would be a great pick here.

There's good odds one or both of Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer are gone in 2024.

Fourth Round (129th overall): Jacob Cowing, WR, Arizona

Cowing goes for the second of three mocks to the Bills.

The UTEP transfer to Arizona is on the small side, but ran a blistering 4.38 in the 40 and can play both inside and outside. He's explosive and would be a great player for the Bills by 2025 or 2026, when they have to change their WR room entirely to what it looked like in 2023.

Fifth Round (159th overall): Dillon Johnson, RB, Washington

Johnson shined in the college football playoff, even playing hurt. He has sneaky speed but can also bruise between the tackles. Would be a good change of pace back for James Cook.

Fifth Round (162nd overall): Ja'quan Sheppard, CB, Maryland

Sixth Round (198th overall): Cedric Johnson, edge, Ole Miss

Sixth Round (202nd overall): Charles Thomas, OC, LSU

Sixth Round (206th overall): Austin Reed, QB, Western Kentucky
