Every NFL Team Switches Twitter Avatar to “Pray for Damar”
The football world stopped on Monday night, just before 9 pm.
Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin collapsed on the field after getting up from a tackle of Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins.
Hamlin was administered CPR on the field and according to the Bills on Tuesday, had his heartbeat restored on the field before being taken by ambulance to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
Hamlin remains in critical condition and in the ICU at the UC Medical Center, which is what the Bills provided in their latest medical update on Hamlin.
The Bills, Bengals, fans and country are thinking and praying for Hamlin and his family. On Tuesday afternoon, every single NFL team switched their Twitter profile picture to "Pray for Hamlin."
The Bills and Bengals game will not be resumed this, as the NFL made that announcement just after 1 pm EST. There is no word on when or if the game will be played at a future date, although no changes have been made to the week 18 slate of NFL games.
Right now, the game doesn't matter. The health of Hamlin and his family, along with Hamlin's teammates is far more important.
