Packers Player Ejected For Pushing a Buffalo Bills Coach [VIDEO]
The Buffalo Bills and Green Bay Packers are currently at halftime for their week 8 Sunday Night Football game in Orchard Park.
The Bills currently lead 21-7.
The Bills offense has been firing on all cylinders so far, while the Packers have relied mostly on their run game with Aaron Jones.
The story everyone on social media is talking about, however, was what Packers first round rookie linebacker Quay Walker did after a James Cook run.
Bills rookie James Cook ran for a Buffalo first down at the Bills sideline. After the play was over, Walker shoved a Bills coach on the sideline, which was a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and an ejection.
Bills head coach Sean McDermott was right there and made sure he let Walker that was not appreciated.
Walker shrugged McDermott away as well.
After the ejection, Packers head coach Matt LaFleur had an ear-full for Walker.
I'm not sure why Walker felt the need to shove a member of the Bills staff but the ejection appears to be along the lines of contact with an official, which is typically an automatic ejection.
Walker is one of Green Bay's best players, so this, along with losing Christian Watson to a concussion, is a blow to the Packers chances.
We'll have to wait and see what the Bills and Packers coaches, particularly Quay Walker, have to say in postgame interviews regarding the incident.
We've rarely seen a player shove a staff member or coach on the opposing sideline like that.
