His longtime partner Bob Taylor broke the news on Facebook over the weekend:
It is with a heavy, and now a lonely heart that I report the passing of my very dear and best friend, Harv Moore. For someone who has spoken for a living most of my life, I struggle to find the words. Only to say that Harv contributed many, many chapters to my life story. Ones that I will review in my heart until I see him again. He had a beautiful outlook on life. Almost anytime I asked him how he was he would tell me that "every day is a gift, and I'm grateful to God for this one".A couple of years ago I asked him for a sample of his voice for a project I was working on. He could have sent me anything, but he sent me this. A true testament to his optimism and outlook on life. I hope his words inspire you as they have me."atta boy Harvey !" Love you and will miss you my brother and BFF
