We love our local restaurants in Western New York.

After the Buffalo Bills and Sabres, along with the people who live here, the thing that separates Buffalo from the rest of the country is the incredible and unique food.

Wings, beef on weck, Buffalo-Style pizza, pastry hearts, sponge candy, Loganberry, Sahlen's Hot Dogs, etc. They're all amazing and make this place what it is.

However, we do still go to national spots. The drive-thru lines for places like Tim Horton's (basically a Buffalo thing), McDonald's, Wendy's, Starbucks, etc. can get pretty long. Still, we don't have nearly the plethora of fast food options as other regions.

That changed a bit a few years ago, when Chick-fil-A finally came to Western New York (Walden Ave). A second location was added shortly after (Transit and Losson) and now, a third is coming to Hamburg.

There's one fast food chain which Buffalo would absolutely love and Buffalo Eats started the conversation on Twitter this weekend.

Buffalo Eats is an account that highlights news surrounding Buffalo restaurants and bars, along with discussion of outside places. They visited Raising Cane's in Kentucky and gave it a 10/10 review.

Buffalo said they want a location in Western New York.

If you're unfamiliar, Raising Cane's is chicken fingers, fries, Texas toast and coleslaw with special sauce. It's basically the entire menu, but they have become hugely popular in recent years. The closest locations are in Ohio.

Bojangles and Waffle House are two more than should come to Western New York. Bojangles does plan on coming to the New Jersey, New York City region, so perhaps that will be one to watch out for in Western New York.
