Remembering When New York State Almost Put A Nuclear Waste Dump In Caneadea, NY [VIDEO]

How would you feel if New York State wanted to put a nuclear waste dump near your home? It almost happened to the residents of Caneadea, NY in Allegany county a little more than 20 years ago.  It still gives me chills when I think about what could have happened. Thank God the people of Caneadea and the surrounding towns of Angelica and Belfast were able to put a stop to this before it could happen. This was your classic David verses Goliath story.
