New Restaurant, Ale House Opens in Hamburg With Dog-Friendly Menu
October begins tomorrow, and that means many Western New York residents will be venturing out to restaurants and breweries for great fall beer and comfort food.
If you live in the southtowns, you probably know about the former location of the Armor Inn and Tap Room on Abbott Road.
Armor Inn and Tap Room closed in 2021 after being on the market and while it was sad that it closed for Hamburg residents, it's back and it will feature a ton of amazing things for customers.
According to Buffalo Business First, Rush Creek Alehouse has just had their soft opening last week at the former Armor Inn and Tap Room last week and will have their grand opening in early October.
Rush Creek Alehouse will partner with local breweries and they will even have a craft cocktail and bourbon bar in the works for next year. They will also have a dog-friendly patio and menu for customers. The menu will feature a variety of cuisine.
Hamburg's other great restaurants include JP Fitzgerald's, Mammoser's, Juicy Burger Bar, Butera's and Coyote Cafe, among others.
Being the owner of a pit-bull/beagle mix, it's so awesome when reestaurants have dog-friendly patios or even allow dogs to come into establishments. It's even more cool when there are dog-friendly menu items.
I love summertime for bars and restaurants but the month of October might be better. It's many Buffalonians' favorite month of the year for local craft beer, and the comfort food dishes make it a perfect month to go out to locally-owned restaurants with family and friends.
I know many people in Hamburg who are happy about this news.
