New York State is getting an absolute whirlwind of weather the next 72 hours including a snow storm, a wind storm and a flood warning on top of it all.

The temperature is fluctuating so much that it is going to cause a of problems as people try and travel around for the holiday throughout the weekend.

What is the time table for the snow, wind and flood happening?

The snow is expected tonight for parts of New York State starting at 6 PM. The winds will be up to almost 55 miles per hour over night so make sure that your Christmas decorations are secure. Because Lake Erie is still so warm and the ground is not frozen, the snow is going to melt and cause some issues especially for Fredonia, New York, Hamburg, New York, Lakeshore, New York, Dunkirk, Athol Springs, Wanakah and Pinehurst areas.

Here is the information that was given from the National Weather Service for Western New York ahead of the wild weather event:

LAKESHORE FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 7 PM THIS EVENING TO 10 AM EST THURSDAY

* WHAT...Minor lakeshore flooding expected.

* WHERE...Erie and Chautauqua counties.

* WHEN...From 7 PM this evening to 10 AM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Some water on low lying roads and property along the
lakeshore. Spray from high waves and onshore wind may impact
Route 5 in Hamburg. Water levels will rise in Buffalo Harbor and
Canalside.
