The upcoming movie Marshall, a film about Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall’s early career as an attorney for the NAACP, was actually partially filmed in Buffalo and the surrounding area. The filming took place around Buffalo and highlighted areas including the Central Terminal, Dillon Courthouse, homes on Middlesex Road and the Genesee County Courthouse. The Buffalo News reports that the film will now have a special premiere in the city it was filmed.

You can catch the special screening of the movie at the North Park Theatre on Hertel on October 7th at 8pm. The screening will also include producers Chris Bongirne and Jonathan Sanger who will also hold a Q&A after the movie plays.

Tickets for the special screening of Marshall which starts Josh Gad, Kate Hudson, Dan Stevens and Sterling K. Brown are not on sale yet, but since it is part of the Buffalo International Film Festival patrons with the festival's Bison Pass will be able to attend the screening on a first come first serve basis. The Bison Pass is $39.99 and can be purchased HERE. That pass will get you into any of the films or shorts featured in the four day film festival.
