Shiftwork: Episode 19 – Bridget Gilewski of Baby’s Bungalow
Buffalo is an amazing city for a ton of reasons, but the most significant reason is the people who have built up the community we live in today. Buffalo has seen a resurgence in recent years, and that's thanks to hard-working men and women who have put their passions to work for Western New York.
The goal of our newest segment, Shiftwork, is to highlight those movers and shakers in Buffalo and beyond who have put in the work to make our community as great as it is. We are teaming up one of Buffalo's greatest philanthropists, Russell Salvatore of Russell's Steaks, Chops and More, to bring you the very best of Buffalo business.
Each month we will highlight a different entrepreneur--I'll get a chance to chat with them to discuss how they've gotten where they are, the steps that got them there, and what the city of Buffalo means to them.
In this episode, I sat down with Bridget Gilewski, the owner and ultrasonographer at Baby's Bungalow.
If you've never been, Baby's Bungalow is truly a one-of-a-kind facility. They focus entirely on the experience of the mother and family when it comes to the ultrasound. The first one is certainly an important moment--I've done it three times now! The professionals there make sure that each expectant mother is comfortable and relaxed, and can focus on what's most important--their little one. I was able to talk to Bridget about what motivated her to create this place that offers these kinds of services--a true gift for WNY mothers.
