Should Fireworks Be Legalized In New York State?

Saw this video of fireworks going off in a tent in Florida. A man was upset and decided to ignite the fireworks inside the tent. The incident was caught on tape.With the Independence Day holiday coming up next week, there will be fireworks all over Western New York. In New York State fireworks are illegal unless you are a professional pyrotechnic company with proper permits. Should that change? I know that there are people who drive to other states to buy them and use them back here at home in NY. In my opinion the small firecrackers ie: blackcats and lady fingers should be allowed.If you are over 18 you should be allowed to posses a certain amount of small pyrotechnics such as bottle rockets or roman candles.Leave the really big stuff to the pros.
