Doesn't it seem like every single morning this month, you have had to brush snow off your cart? Granted, it's not like we've had to brush a foot of snow off of our cars every day, but I cannot remember a January that was this cold and this snowy. It's ironic that it came after a warmer than usual December.

Looking at the numbers, this is currently the 7th snowiest January on record in Buffalo and should move into the top 5 when it's all said and done (just over 51 inches so far).

My dog loved all the snow at first, but she's finally getting sick of maneuvering her way through the icy snow when going outside.

Unfortunately, that streak of snow will continue for Buffalo and Western New York.

According to the National Weather Service, more accumulating snow will impact Western New York this evening and into tomorrow.

2-3 inches should fall in the Buffalo metro, while areas south of the city could see more; with even 6 or more inches into the southern tier.

It will be very cold this weekend, with highs in the teens on Saturday and then only into the low 20's by Sunday.

The good news is that by next Wednesday and Thursday, we will see warmer than average temperatures, with mid-40's by Thursday and even some pure rain showers.

I don't care much for the cold rain, but sign me up for 45 and rain right now. I'm very much done with the everyday snow and bitterly cold temps.
