It is not something that we haven't seen before but it is not something that you want to see, but it looks like we could see a snowy Halloween this year in Western New York.

There are a couple of chances of snow over the next couple of days but it looks like the long-range forecast is calling for snow on Halloween.

If you are like me and grew up here in Western New York chances are at some point in your childhood you had to figure out how to put your Halloween custom over a snowsuit.

I spend a couple of Halloweens and Begger's nights slushing throw the snow and ice to get as much candy as my little hands could handle. It looks like some kids this Halloween will have to figure out to grab some candy with gloves and mittens.

Accuweather is calling for a chance of snow on Monday evening. Halloween will start pretty mild with a chance of rain and a high of 55 but it looks like we will have a cool down as we get into the trick-or-treating time frame.

Most towns in Western New York have set their trick-and-treat times from around 4 pm until around 8 pm on Monday. That is the time we could see the rain turn into snow and slush. That means if you are taking your kids out for trick and treating you might have to make sure their costume fits over their winter jacket.
