If you have always wanted to be a part of the 4H auctions at the fair, here is your chance to fill your freezer with some quality, local, meats!!

Because of the COVID 19 pandemic, the county fairs in the area have been cancelled for the year. However, the heart and soul of the fair is still going to happen.

Any county fair is agriculture based. The produce, the livestock and the hard work that goes in to them is the foundation of why we even have a fair!

In an effort to keep that going and give the kids of 4H a chance to sell the animals they have worked hard to raise, Cornell Cooperative Extension has released a virtual plan for the auctions to continue.
Stay tuned for similar information and plan from the other counties around WNY.

Chautauqua County will hold their auction on July 16th:

The 2020 4-H Meat Animal Sale will be an online-only auction beginning at 6:00pm on Thursday, July 16 and ending at 6:00pm onFriday, July 17, 2020. CCE Chautauqua has contracted with Peterson Auction to host the auction. The highest quality beef, goat, chicken, lamb, and hogs will be offered for sale by the head.
