Add another WNY tradition to your calendar.

The popular Springtime in the Country event announced they have plans to return to the Hamburg Fairgrounds in May.

Last year the event was virtual, and this year, organizers have moved the typically-March event to May 28, 29 and 30.

According to WGRZ:

“It did not seem realistic to plan for the event for the end of March, so we made the decision to pivot to a later date,” said Dan Kaczynski of Premier Promotions of WNY, organizers of the event.

The artisan market features over 200 small businesses and crafters from all over the United States to shop for unique, handcrafted items and wares.

Kaczynski says that the pandemic has canceled many of these events, and so the artisans have gone without income.

WGRZ reports details on changes to the event will be forthcoming, but organizers plan to utilize outdoor space for this year's event.
