People who love superhero stories love to imagine what superpower they wish they had.  No question, the ability to fly is a good one. Can you imagine how much quicker you could get from place to place? Invisibility is huge, of course.  That's one of the superpowers that just seems like it would be fun to have.  If you like to snoop on other people, or just wish you could disappear, this one is for you.  Being able to read people's minds would be crazy, but that one could be rough on your ego.

In Buffalo, we have different challenges.  There are superpowers that we wish we could have just to deal with the things that being in Buffalo throw at us every day.  So what would you choose as your Buffalo superpower?

1.  The Ability To Travel Through Time

Imagine all the things you could do with the ability to time travel.  Think about it. All of the mistakes you've seen Buffalo make over the years could possibly be changed.  You could influence them to never build the 33 right where it is.  Maybe the original Rich Stadium isn't placed in Orchard Park and instead went right downtown.  The things that you could possibly change...

2.  The Ability To Radiate Heat Anytime, Anywhere

Say goodbye to your snowblower.  If you could radiate heat wherever you are, your driveway would clear itself.  And all those heating bills you've got.  Kiss those goodbye too.

3. The Ability To Manipulate Objects In Motion

So...instead of that kick going wide right, it soars right down the middle.  All those missed goals, turn into Stanley Cups.  How many championships would we have under our belt?  I know...it's cheating.  But come on!

4.  The Ability To Hover

Potholes would no longer be an issue.  If you could simply hover over them, we would never have to worry about how the plows were tearing up our roads in the winter.

5.  The Ability To Process Food At A Rapid Pace

If you could eat all that you wanted and never have to worry about feeling awful, or gaining weight, wouldn't you enjoy Buffalo food a whole lot more?  Imagine never having to worry about another calorie...ever.

6. Teleportation

I would say "Super speed" but man...then you still have to run.  You're just really fast.  You want to make it from Lockport to Orchard Park but don't feel like driving every major highway in Western New York?  Just teleport.  How many of your kids' sporting events do you and your spouse have to split up because one is in Springville and the other is in Albion?  Just teleport and be at both of them instantly.  How sweet would that be?

7. Weather Manipulation

It's safe to say that most people in Buffalo like the weather here...otherwise they'd probably go somewhere else.  But it's also safe to say that it would be nice to order up a sunny day every now and then and a snowy day when we're in the mood for that.
