Every once in a while, Taco Bell has some good news for their fans - including the recent revelation that they’ll be bringing back some spicy items that were hugely popular many years ago.

Remember Taco Bell's Volcano Menu and Lava Sauce?

Taco Bell has a ton of different sauces, from mild to diablo, to satisfy whatever level of heat your taste buds can tolerate. But for those who like their burritos, tacos, and more to be super spicy - we’re talking eyes watering, nose running, “I can’t feel my tongue”-level spicy, one sauce used to rule them all at Taco Bells across New York State.

Lava Sauce was a crazy hot and cheesy addition you used to be able to add to your Taco Bell menu favorites. The fiery sauce, featured in the chain’s Volcano tacos, burritos, and nachos, was so intense that one bite could cause patrons to cry and immediately chug water - and fans absolutely loved it.

Lava Sauce and Volcano Menu Coming Back To New York State

Lovers of Lava Sauce were disappointed when Taco Bell discontinued it in 2013. However, like Taco Bell tends to do, it has revealed that it’ll bring it back to its menu for a limited time later this year.

Beginning at the end of June, Taco Bell’s Volcano tacos, burritos, and nachos - Lava Sauce and all - will triumphantly return to restaurants across New York State. Customers can also add the beloved Lava Sauce to their other favorite items.

Naturally, this caused fans of the cult-classic sauce to freak out.

Of course, according to Taco Bell, the Volcano menu and taste-tingling Lava Sauce will only be available for a limited time while supplies last. So if you miss your Lava Sauce fix, you’d better get in line on June 29th and grab it while you can!
