The last five months have been long and difficult. The winter started out horribly with a lake effect snowstorm that dropped six feet of snow on parts of Buffalo and the south towns, with a historic blizzard crippled the region the week of Christmas.

It's been a roller coaster ride ever since, with bitterly cold temperatures being a storyline on and off.

However, we finally see light at the end of the tunnel. It's April and looking ahead past the Easter weekend, the temperatures will be nothing but 60's and even 70's for next Wednesday through Sunday. By then it will be the third week of April, which means good times and good weather are ahead.
