We enlisted Miranda Lambert to help me do the ice bucket challenge. She was about to go on stage when we asked and she was great about it. We went to go find a hose and she wanted to just shoot the hose at me. Here is how it went.

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is not over just yet, at least not in Buffalo, NY! The Walk to Defeat ALS event was held in Delaware Park on Saturday morning and raised a ton of money for a good cause. According to their website:

I was drinking my coffee when I was watching this and, honestly, didn't expect this to be funny. Laura Bush comes to aid our former President to dump the ice on his head and who would have thought that good ol George has some funny bones left in him...

Cole Swindell challenged Luke Bryan once to do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, but he had to up the ante when he was nominated again. But, when the whole St. Louis Cardinal baseball team challenges you--you can't back down. Eric Chuch did a similar maneuver to dump the ice on his head too...

Have you been nominated for the Ice Bucket Challenge yet?  I have been....twice.  I want to believe that most people have already done it.  As much as we might be getting tired of it, it is certainly bringing awareness and much needed funds to help in the fight against ALS.  But not everyone executes it flawlessly.

As great and well-intentioned as the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is, it doesn't truly hammer home the horror of Lou Gehrig's disease.

Country biggest stars continue to do good, taking a stand against ALS! Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Nettles and Zac Brown Band are the latest to contribute to the Ice Bucket Challenge, both donating money and dumping water on their heads for our enjoyment.

When Taylor Swift accepts a challenge, she makes a splash. Swift took the icy ALS Ice Bucket Challenge plunge on Saturday (Aug. 16), supporting the cause on Instagram with not one, but three different videos -- and with maybe the largest crowd to all take the challenge at one time!
