TMZ is reporting that Sally Ride has passed away.  In 1983 she did something that no other woman before her had done.  She was the first woman in space.  But with that trip, she also broke another record.

When you think bluegrass music, what's one name that comes to mind.  Chances are a lot of you just thought "Earl Scruggs".  He even perfected a 3 finger picking style of playing the banjo called "Scruggs Style".

It's crazy how fast time flies.  Believe it or not, it was already 10 years ago today that we lost one of the all time greats in country music.  On February 13, 2002 Waylon Jennings passed away in his sleep from complications of Diabetes.

Actor Peter Falk, who for decades played the titular character on the detective telepic series ‘Columbo,’ died Thursday night at his home in Beverly Hills, CA. He was 83. Falk had been suffering from dementia and Alzheimer’s, which was first made public in December 2008, according to the AP. The actor “died peacefully,” his family said in a statement.
