The first Buffalo-area location isn't even built yet, but there's word Chick-fil-A is planning a second location.  The second location could be in Amherst.

It's official! After months and even years of speculation Chick-fil-A has finally confirmed they are coming to WNY and more specifically Buffalo. While a location has not been confirmed it was reported early from a source that they would be moving into the old Famous Dave's location on Walden by the Galleria...

I know...it looks like there's another rumor about Chik Fil-A coming to Buffalo...again.  However, The Buffalo News claims they have the actual location of the first Chik Fil-A restaurant in Western New York.

Odd location? This is the initial reaction to seeing this sign is 'why there?' to most people. Matt Bove, from WKBW tweeted out this sign that is on Saunders Settlement Road in Sanborn. Rumors have been swirling the past few months of Chick-Fil-A locations coming to the Western New York area after other New York locations, including Rochester have gotten the famous chicken chain restaurant. Earlier today, we were talking on air about Chick-Fil-A, hopefully, coming to Buffalo (fingers crossed) and not one, but two people who are connected to the restaurant have heard that two locations are on their way to Buffalo. Fingers crossed this is true...

You could see a Chick-fil-A get closer to Buffalo--real soon.

We brought it up on the morning show, and we were amazed at the response.  People in Western New York are nuts about Chick-fil-A.  There are no locations in this area but the company says it's looking into expanding here.
