We've really been TRYING to get into the holiday spirit over here, and because we all work different shifts, it is hard to get all of us in the same room at the same time. I think for those of us in the audience and for Justin Moore...that was a first. On Sunday night, Justin Moore debuted music from his new album "Off The Beaten Path," while performing along a river on a boat! OK, so the boat was on a trailer and not actually IN the water, but still, it was one of the coolest, most redneck concerts I have ever had the pleasure of witnessing.

He started here as an intern when he was a teenager.  He'd help out around the station and at remotes and other appearances working without pay.  But you could see it right away. He was so dedicated as an intern that he was offered a job, first as a part timer, then full time working the evening shift.  Eventually he moved to mornings, and we've sat across from each other every morning ever since.

Clay Moden was invited out to Arrowhead Golf Club in Akron, N.Y. the other day to play some golf.  What a beautiful course it is. Lots of wide open spaces, long par 5 holes, some challenging par 3's, and one of the most beautiful club houses in all of New York State.
