There was a coyote spotted in Western New York and caught in an incredible video with something that it is dragging.

It's not uncommon to find coyotes in the south towns in Western New York. But seeing them in a village setting isn't quite as normal.

The coyote was acting really weird. It would take a few steps and then just stand there for minutes at a time. Take a few more steps and then stop for a while again. It looked like it was losing its hair and kind of mangey. Was it just mange? Did it have rabies? Is it weird to see a coyote just chilling in the wide-open yard at 11 in the morning?

The issue in Hamburg appears to be that the traps are being placed in areas that dogs tend to play.

His name is Jason Groseclose and he's a 2-time World Coyote Howling Champion. You can see why in this video.  His first call gets no response.  Try not to get chills after his second attempt.
