With about two laps to go in the AdvoCare 500, NASCAR Driver Jeff Gordon crashed into fellow driver Clint Bowyer. The bump sent Bowyer into the wall and sparked one of the greatest NASCAR fights of all-time -- in the pits!

A wild finish on and off the track at Phoenix International Raceway and big change in the Chase for the Sprint Cup Championship. First – the winner – Kevin Harvick had enough gas to win in a green, white, checkered finish after a series of crashes in the final laps. The win breaks a 44-race winless skid for Harvick.

The field is set for this year’s Chase for the Sprint Cup championship. Clint Bowyer won Saturday night’s race at Richmond, but the bigger story was Jeff Gordon who drove himself into the final Chase wild card spot edging out Kyle Busch by three points.

It was a combination of good luck and bad weather that allowed Jeff Gordon to win his first race of the season. Teammate Jimmie Johnson got loose on a restart and knocked Matt Kenseth into the wall. David Reutimann apologized for his mistake that had a huge impact on the outcome of yesterday’s race at Martinsville.  With a broken suspension he elected to stay on the track to build points, but then his engine quit and he coasted to a stop just three laps from the scheduled end of the race.  It brought out a yellow flag and that’s when the fun began.
