There were rumors that there was going to be a big 'American Idol' shake-up, but before anything was made official Randy Jackson has given the show his walking papers. Jackson announced today that Season 12 will be his last on the hit show.

American Idol has certainly seen its fair share of country singers.  It's produced some big stars in country radio, too.  From Carrie Underwood and Kellie Pickler to Kelly Clarkson and one of the newest country stars, Scotty McCreery, they've all gotten their start from being on the American Idol stage.  But has the show finally come to a screeching stop?
