Ticks

The past couple of days you probably have been spending outside in Western New York, especially with the holiday and heat wave in place. Have you noticed more ticks than usual? There's a reason you're going to see more ticks than usual this year...

As the weather gets warmer, people start spending more time outdoors. The problem is that ticks are outside too.

The founder of Lyme WNY says this season has the most amount of ticks she has ever seen.

When Brad Paisley came out with his song "Ticks," lots of people laughed and thought it was funny. I did too...until the other night when I found one on myself!

Summer brings warm weather, sunshine, and outdoor fun.  But it also brings out the bugs!  Time to start checking your pets for ticks!
