This time it was Kevin Harvick who led a race-high 29 laps, but his engine quit in the final turn. And as he began to coast down the final straightaway Joey Logano, then Kyle Busch were able to pass him forcing Harvick into a third place finish.

Finally a checkered flag for Marcus Ambrose. He won yesterday’s rain delayed road course race at Watkins Glen beating Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski in a two lap sprint. Busch led at the green flag for the final two laps, but Keselowski, then Ambrose got by him. Ambrose then chased down Keselowski, caught him and passed him entering the final lap and rolled to his first Sprint Cup victory.
