Free agency is in full swing and it looks like the Bills aren't done making moves yet.  Today, the moves came in the quarterback room.

It's pretty obvious that the Bills are set with their starting quarterback, but now they're doing what they can to shore up the backup quarterback situation.

Today they made a move to sign Mitchell Trubisky, formerly of the Chicago Bears to a one year deal.

Trubisky will be the backup to Josh Allen. You may be saying, "but what about Matt Barkley?" It looks as though he may have been cut.

Barkley has been a fan favorite since he got here and opened eyes with a big win against the Jets.  He had a huge game throwing to Robert Foster and really turned some heads. https://youtu.be/7rxTwAEJhjs Now the question is whether or not Trubisky will win the backup job.  If you remember, last year, the Bills drafted a quarterback out of Georgia that served as a safety quarterback this year. Trubisky was highly sought after coming out of college.  He was the 2nd overall pick in the 2017 draft out of North Carolina.  By the way, that is the same year that Patrick Mahomes was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs 10th overall. It will be an interesting off season to see what happens with the backup quarterback situation will look like.  We will miss Barkley.  But here's to the future. And free agency isn't over yet!
