There's no question that 2020 took a lot from us.  But for many, it gave them time.  Time to fix their homes, pick up a hobby, or maybe just sit on the couch for a couple hours and read.

It's something that our busy lives didn't really leave much time for in the past.  But this year, because so many people were asked to stay home to stop the spread, they began to pick up books again.

According to WKBW, many people discovered ebooks for the first time and it made it easy to get through some of those best seller's lists that they dreamed of tackling.  They asked the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library what some of the most requested and checked out books of 2020 were and this is the list they gave:

People’s Choice - best book (selected through online voting)
