Go back in history 100 years and you would find that Buffalo was the 8th largest city in the United States. Buffalo was a manufacturing giant back then. We produced everything from furniture to automobiles to beer. And yes, lots of beer. Buffalo was home to many breweries including: Beck's, Stein's,Schriebers, Phoenix, Iroquois and Simon Pure to name a few. Here's a short video history of Buffalo's Beer brewing days.
