It's been fairly chilly the past couple of nights, just in time for the start of the National Football League regular season!

The Green Bay Packers will open the league year in Chicago to play the Bears tonight at 8:20 p.m.

The Thursday games can be a bit much over the course of the season but the first one of the year is always special. The NFL has the longest off-season of any major sport in North America (about seven months from the Super Bowl to the regular season opener), so it's a sight for sore eyes.

We're also one day closer to our Buffalo Bills opening the season, which is this Sunday at the New York Jets (1 p.m. kickoff).

Nothing better than football in the fall!
