O.J. Simpson, Jim Kelly, And Others Will Not Be Listed Inside New Buffalo Bills Stadium?
Former NFL star O.J. Simpson passed away at the age of 76 after a prostate cancer diagnosis. It raises a lot of questions, including the money he still owed the families of Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman.
He played eleven seasons in the NFL, gaining the nickname “The Juice.” Simpson was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in 1969 as the No. 1 overall pick, and he was often considered one of the greatest running backs of all time.
His career in the NFL earned him a spot in the Hall of Fame, inducted in the year 1985, and he is one of 31 members in the Buffalo Bills Wall Of Fame. However, his infamous trial called “The Trial Of The Century,” changed those fond memories that Bills fans had of O.J. when he was playing football.
One day he was an NFL Hall of Famer, and the next he was accused of double murder. As you can imagine, there were some mixed feelings about “The Juice” after 1994, nearly 15 years after he retired from the NFL. In fact, many Bills fans started a petition to get O.J. Simpson’s name was removed from the stadium Wall Of Fame.

Many people thought that removing his name from the Wall of Fame would show that the NFL stands against domestic violence. However, his name remains up to this day in Highmark Stadium.
But that could all change when the new stadium is built in 2026.
There are 31 members in the Wall of Fame, but several people have expressed that they would like O.J. 's name to be left off the new stadium, so could that change?
Here’s what most of Western New York had to say when asked about the possibility of leaving O.J.’s name off the new stadium.
A majority of people want his name to stay on the wall inside the stadium as it has been for decades, but when the new stadium opens, the future of the Wall of Fame is uncertain.
The members in the Buffalo Bills Wall of Fame will still remain there; however, many reports, including those from The Athletic, suggest that the new stadium will list those names on the outside of the stadium rather than inside the new stadium, so you won’t be able to see them from the comfort of your game seats.
From what we know so far, the Wall of Fame members will instead be featured outside the stadium in what is referred to as the “family circle” area, but more stadium news will be confirmed as the Bills get closer to the 2026 season, aka the first season to be played with the new stadium.
