The Office is without a doubt one of the most popular, iconic and funny television shows of the last 20 years. The American spin-off version of the British show ran from 2005-2013 but is still a heavy part of pop culture to this day.

Everyone has their favorite characters, and whether or not they prefer Pam or Karen (I was always a Pam fan, by the way), but did you know there are plenty of Buffalo references or connections with The Office?

The most obvious might episodes 4 and 5 in season 6 when Jim Halpert (John Krasinski) and Pam Beesley (Jenna Fischer) get married at Niagara Falls. There's even a scene montage when they show Seneca Niagara Casino early on in the episode!

Jim and Pam also ride the Maid of the Mist, which is one of the more famous scenes in the show's run.

If you've seen the show, then you're also aware of Dunder Mifflin -- the paper company the show is based around. The main branch office is Scranton, Pennsylvania but did you know there's also a Buffalo branch? There's a few references to it during the first couple seasons, but the most famous one is when Dunder Mifflin's corporate office decided to shut down the Buffalo branch, which of course was spoiled by Michael Scott during the company picnic.

Lastly, this one should be fresh in everyone's minds, John Krasinski later went on to direct the A Quiet Place movies, and the second one was filmed in Western New York, including Buffalo, Lackawanna, Grand Island and Dunkirk.

A Quiet Place: Part II will be released in April of 2021.

It's so cool one of the most popular shows of the 2000's had quite a few Buffalo connections!
