Boat Theft Reported In These Western New York Areas

After a report of jet skis being stolen, residents in the Lime Lake area are staying vigilant.

The summer will be here, officially, in a couple of weeks. Even though the water is cold, and the weather is not great, boat thieves are hard at work looking for things to take.

A boat dealer is looking for the people responsible for the theft of a pair of jet skis.

According to a post on their Facebook page, the owners of Lime Lake Marine and RV are looking for stolen items.

Help!!! We have had a pair of seadoo jet skis stolen from us. If anyone has any info or may know the whereabouts. please give us a call!

In the comments section on the post, a few people mentioned setting up cameras and that is a solid idea if you are able to do that. Locking your trailers and keeping the boats, jet skis, ATV or other equipment in well lit areas might also help.

The weather is about to change, for the better! After what seemed like a very long month of May that was cold and wet, the warm and dry weather will arrive as we start June. If you own a boat or personal water craft, keep an eye on it!
