Things Will Get Creative In Lewiston This Weekend
It’s all about the arts this weekend and one of Western new York’s most unique and walk-able villages!
You are invited to bring the family to Lewiston New York for the annual Art Festival this weekend. The festival will feature so much more than great and unique paintings and sculptures, there will also be great things for the kids and fun and food for the family!
According to kidsoutandabout.com:
Bring the whole family for a weekend of art, music, food, street performers, workshops, demonstrations. The Lewiston Art Festival is the #1 event of its kind. Chalk Art competition, Modern ArtZone activities, ArtPark and more!!
Lewiston has always been one of the most beautiful villages to walk around in in Western New York. I grew up in East Aurora and Lewiston reminds me of the "quaintness" of East Aurora as well. Add to the fact that it’s featured along the Niagara River, and beautiful Niagara County, and it makes a perfect setting for an event like this.
It has been so refreshing to get back out and enjoy these great events around Western New York this summer. I will say that being out in a crowd at first was a little bit of a shock. There were so many thoughts going through my mind as to whether or not I knew exactly how to interact with that many people. My wife and I went to the Cattaraugus County Fair last week and walking through a large crowd definitely made us feel uneasy. Not because we were concerned about the virus per se but because it was just a lot of people all at once after a year of only seeing a handful at most.
As we get ready for this weekend there are so many great events coming up including the Lewiston Art Festival around Western New York. Things are ready to go for the Erie County Fair and Buffalo Bisons have returned home after over 700 days of being away from their house in downtown Buffalo. Needless to say, there is no shortage of great events around this area for the rest of the summer and into the fall! Hopefully we will see you around town this weekend and perhaps taking in a little bit of the great creativity that he’s artist will bring to the Village of Lewiston.
