This Is New York State’s Smallest Deer Ever [VIDEO]
There is a good chance that you have seen a few baby deer walking around Western New York this spring. As the summer approaches, fawns are being born!
The storms have passed by and the rest of this week looks really nice! If you are walking or hiking or taking a jog, watch for the little deer to be in the woods or high grasses around where you are.
But of all the deer pictures that we have been sent, and all the videos, this one might show the tiniest little deer this season.

Thanks to a friend for sending in this video! It actually shows twin fawns and they sure are cute.
This time of the year, the baby deer are often left behind by their mom (the doe) in tall brush or grasses as they eat. The fawns are born without scent so predators are not attracted to them.
The best advice that most officials have is to just leave the deer alone and let them be.
As for the adult deer, the bucks are starting to grow their racks! Some of the bucks that I have seen are already showing signs of having a great rack!
