It’s been extremely frustrating for many in Western New York the last few days and weeks trying to find a COVID-19 vaccine appointment. Sometimes it’s just a matter of being lucky and when you’re checking online. Ones that open up don’t last long.

However, there’s now a website devoted to helping people find a COVID-19 vaccine appointment in Western New York — and it’s super easy to use.

WGRZ reports that a website called WNY Vaccine Hound is designed to find any available vaccine appointments by county across Western New York. It was developed by faculty and graduate students at the University at Buffalo’s school of management.

All you have to do is search the particular county you want to find a vaccine appointment. The website will then work to find locations and provide links to open appointments. It’s that simple!

It doesn’t mean you won’t get the dreaded “no available appointments” message, but you can check back later to see when new appointment spots open up. At least you won’t have to keep searching different sites individually for an open appointment (like I’ve been doing the past two days).

Those 30 years old and over were eligible for the vaccine as of Tuesday morning and next Tuesday, those 16 years old and over can sign up for a vaccine appointment.

Seriously, this mew website will save so many people time and effort.
