So when is trick or treating happening this year in Western New York? Most towns across Western New York will allow trick or treating right on Halloween which is this Sunday. Most trick or treating hours are from sundown to around 8 pm.

Some local businesses and towns will be offering trick or treating events on Saturday so your kids can double dip when it comes to grabbing some free candy.

For example, businesses along Delaware Avenue in Kenmore will be getting together to offer trick or treating this Saturday from 1-5 pm. It is a great way to get the kids out to get some candy and shop local businesses.

Also on Saturday Eastern Hills Hall will hold a special trick or treating event on Saturday from Noon-5pm. The cost is $2 per child and the proceeds will benefit The Hope Project of WNY.

As for neighborhoods, most towns will be will hold their treat and treating hours on Sunday. Check out this breakdown of some of the local town and village trick or treat hours.

Buffalo Trick-or-treating: October 31 from 4-8 p.m.

Grand Island Trick-or-treating: October 31 from 4-8 p.m.

Jamestown Trick-or-treating: October 31 from 6-8 p.m.

Lockport Trick-or-treating: October 31 from 4-7 p.m.

Orchard Park Trick-or-treating: October 31 from 6-8 p.m.
