THROWBACK: Jake Owen Wearing The WYRK Mascot Head in Buffalo
It is a bummer that the Taste of Country this June. Usually, it would be around this week to kickoff the summer concert season here in Western New York.
NEXT: Check out all of the country concerts coming to Buffalo in the list below!
Some of the best memories come from the show from all of there-parties and tailgating in the lots in downtown Buffalo, to the amazing nearly 5 hour long concert at Sahlen Field, to the after party. One of the best Taste of Country's that was ever thrown was when Jake Owen headlined. Remember that one? The lineup was Jake Owen, Montgomery Gentry, Tyler Farr and the Cadillac 3 that year, in 2014.
I say this all of the time, but country musicians are unlike any other in other genres of music. They are just normal, every day people, that happen to sing real well with cool jobs. Jake Owen is the epitome of that. Just a normal dude.
Jake was backstage at the Taste of Country before he went on to perform just walking around in his bathing suit with the WYRK mascot's head on. He was wearing the ticket wolf mascot head, which honestly, probably smelled so many other people wearing it.
This picture came up on Facebook memories and thought it would be cool to share, seeing that we all should have been getting together to have a concert soon.
