Yesterday the entire cast of the TV Soap Opera "Days of our Lives" was let out of their contracts as the show will go on "indefinite hiatus"

The news was first reported by TVLine.

The NBC soap opera premiered in November 1965, will go on an "indefinite hiatus" at the end of this month.

 The show shoots eight months in advance so they should have enough content to air episodes through next summer,.

The soap opera has taken home several Daytime Emmy Awards, including the outstanding drama series title in 1978, 2013, 2015 and 2018.
