Uber has been named the official ride-sharing partner of the Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres and Buffalo Bandits.  Pegula Sports and Entertainment executive vice president of business development Erica Muhleman said “as soon as ridesharing was legalized in New York State, we enthusiastically initiated discussions to become partners. The Bills, Sabres and Bandits share in Uber’s mission of providing reliable, affordable transportation to all community members, while increasing the safety of our roadways through proactively reducing impaired driving."

The plan is to create dedicated Uber Pick-up and Drop-off zones at New Era Field, KeyBank Center and HarborCenter to make traveling to and from events as easy as possible.  Uber is also working with the Bills and Sabres to fully integrate their app with the My One Buffalo app to provide ticketing, transportation, information and other features by using just a few key strokes.

Uber officials say they're looking forward to making attending Buffalo sporting events and concerts efficient and seamless and their partnership with Pegula Sports and Entertainment does exactly that.  In addition it contributes to the area's economic revitalization while at the same time reduces drunk driving.
