Travelodge did a study that found blue walls can make you feel restful and calm because they remind you of the sea and sky.

According to the report:

those who slept in a blue bedroom were getting an average of 7 hours and 52 minutes of sleep every night. The study authors think this is because blue is associated with calmness, and helps reduce blood pressure and heart rate.
