Valentine’s Day “Country” Couples

In honor of Valentine’s Day, here are the top five most notable “country couples”.

Martina & John McBride. Both worked on the Garth Brooks tour, John was the chief sound engineer and Martina sold “Garth” t-shirts. They later married and became one of Nashville’s super couples they have 3 daughters.

Tim McGraw & Faith Hill. They toured together with other artists before they became a couple. Shortly after they married. Tim and Faith have three daughters and have a family rule to not spend more than three consecutive days apart from another.

Brad & Kimberly Williams-Paisley. The couple has 2 sons Huck and Jasper. Brad has written a couple of songs about her including “Little Moments”. She starred in the “Father of the Bride” movies and the TV show “According to Jim”.

Keith Urban & Nicole Kidman. Met at a Gala dinner in LA honoring other notable Australians in music and film. A year later they married. They couple has two children; Nicole is an Academy Award winning actress.

Blake Shelton & Miranda Lambert. One of country’s hottest duos, onstage and off. They got engaged in May 2010 and their wedding is rumored to be taking place in the spring. At the 44th Annual CMA Awards, Blake and Miranda became the first couple in a decade to win Male and Female Vocalist of the Year in the same evening. Miranda just took home the GRAMMY for Best Female Country Vocal Performance last night.
