According to their website, The "Are You Ok?" program is geared to residents who live alone.

The Are You OK? program is designed for older adults, disabled persons, shut-ins who live alone, or anyone in West Seneca who needs to be checked upon daily. Are You OK? is a computerized telephone calling system which will be operated free of charge by the West Seneca Police Department.

The way the program works is residents of West Seneca sign up for the program on the police department's website and every day they will get an automated phone call at a scheduled time. If the person does not pick up, the police will go to their home to check on them to make sure they are ok.

The program is free and open to any West Seneca resident.
