Western New York Set Another Weather Record Today
If you think the past year has been a bit warmer than usual, you are 100% correct. Western New York has set a new record when it comes to heat in the region.
Buffalo has set a record for the longest period of time that the temperature has not dropped below 15 degrees. The last time it was below 15 degrees was back on March 1, 2020...319 days ago.
Of course, 2020 was a big year for weather records in Western New York. Several daily highs were set last year and we even hit a stretch back in November when we had three 80+ highs in a row!

The National Weather Service in Buffalo says the record will be extended over the next couple of days since we won't see a cold front move thru until next week.
