Williamsville East To Get Therapy Dog in High School

OMG how cute!

The principal at Will East is all on board for having a therapy dog inside of the school. They were part of the Paws for Love capaign with the SPCA and decided to approve the dog.

What is a therapy dog, though? "A dog who is trained and certified/registered to work together with its Owner/Handler to provide emotional support to students."

It didn't matter if they had a test coming up or an AP course coming up, there wasn't a care in the world, and anything we can do to diminish anxiety or reduce anxiety in our students and promote social and emotional learning, we're gonna do that", the principal according to WGRZ.
