There's still no resolution to Willie Nelson's pot case in Texas.  A Hudspeth County, Texas judge has rejected a plea deal that a county prosecutor arranged that would have reduced a charge of possession of marijuana to possession of marijuana paraphernalia.  It also called for a 500-dollar fine and court costs.  But the judge rejected the arrangement after taking a closer look and deciding the penalty wasn't tough enough.   The judge said from the start that Nelson wouldn't receive any special treatment.

Previously the prosecutor offered to let Willie settle the case by appearing in court and singing "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain," as well as paying a fine and court costs.  The judge rejected that too.

Nelson was arrested last fall when his tour bus was searched by the border patrol agents at the Mexican border and found several ounces of marijuana.
