Beer lovers, there's a way for you to get it for free...all it will cost you is a screening for colorectal cancer.

WARNING:  This post talks about feces, poop, farts, and colorectal cancer.  If you are easily offended, it might not be for you.

Colorectal cancer is the second deadliest form of cancer.  Screening can help to find it early and give you a better chance at survival.  The Colon Cancer Foundation has teamed up with Squatty Potty and Duclaw Brewing Company with help from CraftShack to encourage you to get screened with free beer and a Squatty Potty.

They're willing to give you a Squatty Potty and a six-pack of beer if you'll send them your poop.  I know...weird trade, right?

They're calling it the "Give a Crap Challenge."  The Colon Cancer Foundation has a goal to provide 10,000 colorectal cancer screenings to underserved communities in 2021 and they're hoping this will help.

Here's how it will work according to The Brewer Magazine:

  1. Click – Sign up at www.GiveACrapChallenge.com between March 3 – 7 for a chance to participate and receive the screening, Squatty Potty, and beer.  (One hundred lucky entrants will be randomly selected from signups to participate at no cost. Another 300 can instantly participate by making an $85 donation.)
  2. Squat – Take your noninvasive colorectal cancer screening test in the privacy of your own home and mail it to the lab in the prepaid envelope.
  3. Sip – Enjoy your 6-pack of DuClaw’s ‘Thanks for Giving a Crap’ edition of Sour Me Unicorn Farts glittered sour ale on your doorstep from CraftShack & relish in the fact that you gave a crap today! (You’ll receive secure, personalized results of your screening test from to your device.)

Who knows?  It might save your life.
